Main Characters of Book One - The Incubus Attack

Felix Eden is a modern, disfunctional thirteen year old, and our reluctant hero. He must test out his imagination before he can be the Guardian of the Touchstone.

Machiavelli, the infamous fifteenth century politician, is the anti-hero, desperate to avenge centuries of abuse of his name. Hester, Queen of the Dishevellers wants the Touchstone in order to attack the Island with her army of terrifying incubus.

Raximus is Felix's mentor, a traveller across different realities and the current Guardian of the Touchstone. His travelling companion is Laika, the first dog into space who is very proud, very Russian, and always has a space adventure to tell.

Cassandra is the cake-eating fortune-telling leader of the amazing Dynamo Circus, while Sir Isaac Newton has found his true vocation as the mad scientist of dreams. Felix finds an unexpected friend in Frankie de Vay a half Disheveller girl who runs a woodland apothecary and has always dreamed of running away to the circus.

Parr Presto chronicles Felix's dreams and is his comedy foil. He is also the maker of fine dream sweets. Kasparo is the editor of the series of dream stories and ultimately chooses which chronicles will be featured in the Dynamo Tales.
