The Author

K. Clifford’s lifelong ambition is to wing walk over the cliffs of Dover near to where she grew up in Kent. She achieved the other of her ambitions in 1991 when she cycled over the Himalayas and climbed to the base camp of Mount Everest.

Educated at Manchester University in Drama, she worked as a European media researcher before turning to writing, first short stories and magazine articles and then romance novels. It was whilst she was embroiled in working with young people who were being trained to write computer games, websites and ICT courses in a company that she jointly founded, that she became interested in writing for young adults.

K.Clifford lives in Devon with her husband and two children and is active in the local learning community as a chair of governors.
