News - Top Ten Best Dreams

Your dreams range from high fantasy to very detailed emotional experiences, from quirky to highly symbolic. However they manifest themselves, most of you agree that they are unique and wonderful. Now you can judge for yourself.

  1. The number one dream features an entirely new world, created by the dreamer, a world into which she can fly in and out at will. People in her world need saving and guiding to safety. The dreamer helps to navigate them through the world's many levels, marveling at the beauty of the world she has created along the way - a real corker, with lots of depth and action.
  2. The next dream starts with a long walk down a corridor with many doors either side. One door leads to a large auditorium, in the middle of which a game of chess is being played. The ringside seats are occupied by the dreamers family and friends both past and present. Bizarrely, the chess pieces are all babies of some kind, both human and animal, like kittens and puppies. The game progresses, but as each piece is taken by the opponent, it magically grows to adulthood and takes its seat in the auditorium to watch the rest of the game.
  3. Alien space craft have been spotted and their numbers are growing. This dream features a cosmic encounter, a battle for survival over the rooftops of Exeter.
  4. Number four is one of the more bizarre entries. This dreamer gave birth to birds in her dream. Her problem was how to identify her own babies from the thousands of others that looked just the same. She spoke to one of the other mother birds, who explained the secret to telling her own birds apart from the rest. The last dilemma was how she, a human, would teach them to fly. Her solution? To get an artist friend of hers to make and paint some wings. Exceptional imagery at play here.
  5. Next is a jaunty adventure with the cast of the TV series 'Lost'. This dreamer joined the cast and together they found a ring melted in the sand. It was a magical object with the power to transport them to new locations. They had to navigate their way around a Labyrinthine castle with walls that moved and changed position to make their escape a nearly impossible task. Nice to see some real magic at play in this dream.
  6. This is a lovely colourful, feel good dream where the dreamer is a lollipop lady, but rather than direct children across the road, she wears a beautiful multicoloured gown - the Joseph of the dream world. She gives out lollipops to all the children.
  7. Many people seem to meet up with loved ones who they have lost in their waking life. This dream is straightforward and unsentimental, but deeply emotional. The dreamer meets up with her deceased sister. They spend a lovely, normal, uncomplicated day together and the overwhelming feature of the dream is laughter. The dreamer expressed a sense of comfort upon waking, as if their meeting had lifted her pain and helped her remember all the good times.
  8. Flying is by far the most common dream theme. Joyful descriptions of how it feels to fly make it seem very natural, almost a forgotten skill. Many are just content to feel and indulge in the sensation, but this dreamer loves to experience the landscapes of England, but with a difference. Every new scene that unfolds has added adventure, weaving through a field of hot air balloons narrowly avoiding disaster, swooping through a labyrinth of pylons and intuitively navigating a thick forest with the skill of his flight.
  9. This is a fantasy dream set in a beautiful, tranquil place where fairies and pixies live. A waterfall forms the backdrop in this land. What makes it distinctive is that it is a feelings dreams. The dreamer feels calm, tranquil, warm and peaceful when they go to this fantasy land.
  10. What list of dream would be complete without the odd lottery winner. This dreamer now knows exactly how it feels to win and has even enjoyed a very expensive party to celebrate. He even uses the same numbers in his waking life, just in case. In his dream, he uses his new found wealth to spread great happiness, paying off all of his friends and families mortgages.
